HOUSTON -

Arson investigators are trying to determine what caused a minivan to burst into flames and set a garage on fire in southwest Houston.

Firefighters say they arrived at the home located on Gold Tee and Golf Green Road at around 11 p.m. Saturday night.

Upon arrival, crews found flames coming from the attached garage.

Firefighters were able to make a fast attack and put the fire out quickly.

According to the Houston Fire Department, the fire started in the engine of the minivan that was parked in the garage. 

The homeowner told investigators he had just parked the minivan only a couple hours before the fire broke out.

Investigators are looking into what caused the minivan to burst into flames.

There were no injuries reported.
