LOS ANGELES -

It was a busy summer for Miley Cyrus. Now it looks like the controversy over the singer's antics will continue into fall.

Her latest buzz-worthy moment: posing topless on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine.

According to the Rolling Stone article, the interview with Cyrus took place at a Los Angeles tattoo parlor. As the reporter asked her questions, the controversial singer got tattoos on the bottom of her feet. She got the word "Rolling" on her right foot and "Stone" on her left foot.

Rolling Stone said the interview occurred four days after the MTV VMA's. Miley's performance at the awards show, which included twerking, stirred up a lot of controversy.

There has also been outrage over her new music video, in which Cyrus rides around nude on a wrecking ball.

Cyrus' new album hits stores in October.
