METRO fixes cable on rail line

METRO Rail passengers should expect delays Monday morning as they work to replace a cable wire that was down at the McGown station.

METRO officials are not sure what caused the problem, but said instead of using the normal two-lane rail, only one would be used until the problem is fixed.

Passengers should expect 12 to 20 minute delays at every stop instead of rail coming every six minutes.

The cable was fixed Monday afternoon.
