Men break into southwest Houston home

HOUSTON – A group of armed men forced their way into a southwest Houston home on Tuesday morning.

Houston police said the break-in happened at a home on Concourse Drive near Glengate Lane about 10:15 a.m.

Detectives said three men knocked on the door and spoke Spanish to a family that does not speak Spanish. They left, but came back a short time later, knocked on the door and burst inside, investigators said.

The men ripped a necklace and earrings off of a woman who was inside the home. The men left without taking anything else.

Descriptions of the men have not been released.
