A memorial was held Wednesday for Lee'Onna Ramirez, the 3-year-old missing girl who is feared dead.
The memorial celebrating the life of Lee'Onna was held at the Brookside Funeral home on the Eastex Freeway.
Prosecutors said Lee'Onna's mother, Sabrina Deleon, claimed her daughter got sick and died. Investigators said Deleon told them she was afraid she would get in trouble so she threw her daughter's body out in the trash.
Deleon, 26, has been charged with injury of a child by omission and tampering with evidence in the disappearance of her 3-year-old daughter.
She is due back in court in August.
