HOUSTON -

Police are searching for the masked men who robbed a food store in southwest Houston at gunpoint.

It happened just before 5 a.m. Tuesday at the  Pak's store at 301 West Alabama and Flora.

Investigators said one of the men pistol-whipped a clerk above the eye, while the other grabbed the cash register.

The pair ran away leaving a trail of receipt paper. They also busted open the register leaving pieces of it everywhere.

The clerk was not seriously injured.

Police do not know how much money the men got away with.
