AUSTIN, Texas – Someone in Manvel is $5 million richer.
The Texas Lottery announced that a resident claimed a $5 million prize in the scratch ticket game Texas Lottery Platinum. The winner elected to remain anonymous.

The winning ticket was sold at Timewise Food Store #12001 at 3350 County Road 59 in Manvel. For selling the winning ticket, the store is eligible for a $10,000 retailer bonus.
This was the second of three top prizes worth $5 million available in the game to be claimed. Texas Lottery Platinum offers more than $141.5 million in total prizes. Overall odds of winning any prize in the game are one in 3.38, including break-even prizes.
