Man's wallet stolen at airport security checkpoint

Police said the victim's stolen credit card was used about 30 miles away

HOUSTON – Houston Police said a man flying out of Bush Intercontinental Airport discovered someone had stolen his wallet as he entered a security checkpoint in Terminal A on Sept 20. 

Police said the victim found his stolen credit card was used about 30 miles away at a Walgreens on Cullen in southeast Houston. 

Houston Police released surveillance video.  An officer said it showed a man in a green cap successfully use the card to make a purchase in the store.  Next police said the man headed for the ATM and repeatedly tried to withdraw money.  Police said it didn't work.

On the surveillance video, you could see him leave empty handed.  In the final piece of video, the man is seen talking to someone in a yellow or gold, older Ford Taurus.  The video then showed the suspect get into a white, extended-cab pickup and drove off.
