Man, woman wanted for racking up $4,000 on stolen credit cards

SUGAR LAND – Sugar Land police are looking for a man and a woman who used stolen credit cards to purchase more than $4,000 in goods on May 22.

A woman told police her wallet was stolen while shopping at the Whole Foods at 15900 Southwest Freeway on May 22, sometime between 2 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Later that day, two of her cards were used at the Best Buy at 16980 Southwest Freeway. Surveillance footage at Best Buy shows a man and a woman enter the store separately and use the stolen cards to purchase a camera and a gift card, and then leave in a white Dodge Caravan.


The suspects were white or Hispanic. The man was in his early to mid 30s, had black hair and a beard. He was wearing an olive drab baseball cap, a white or gray short-sleeve polo shirt and khaki pants.

The woman had a small build with black shoulder-length hair that was pulled back. She was carrying a large black purse and wearing a white long-sleeve pullover shirt, pants and white tennis shoes.
