HOUSTON – Houston police are searching for a man who may be responsible for up to eight robberies on Houston's south side.
The man was captured by a surveillance camera in a store on South Post Oak Road and Brookston Street on Jan. 23.

According to investigators, the man approached the counter and posed as a customer.
When the clerk opened the register, the thief showed a gun, demanded cash and threatened others in the store, said police.
He fled the scene on foot, investigators say.
