Man wanted in post office robbery

HOUSTON – Police need help finding the man who robbed a post office at gunpoint.

Houston police said a man walked up to an employee at the loading dock of the post office in the 100 block of Yale Street about 5 a.m. on July 27 and then forced his way into the storefront.

The man then demanded cash and property from other employees, investigators said.

The employees complied with the man's demands before he fled on foot, officials said.

The man was described as black, in his mid 20s, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and 140 to 160 pounds with a light beard.
