HARRIS COUNTY – A man is on the run after deputies say he broke into a north Harris County home.
The Harris County Sheriff's Office says it got a call about a burglary on Dec. 22 at a home in the 3100 block of Mierianne Street.

The family living inside said a man knocked on the front door, waking up one of the homeowner's daughters. The man began kicking the side of the door, causing the daughter to run and hide near the kitchen.
Deputies said the man kicked open the side door. The daughter saw the man and screamed, and he fled, driving off in a tan or gray Chevrolet Suburban.
Surveillance pictures show the man outside the home. Call the Harris County Sheriff's Office or Crime Stoppers if you have any information.
