Man wanted for aggravated assault

HOUSTON – Crime Stoppers of Houston is asking for help as authorities search for a man charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon stemming for a mid-October incident.

Houston police say officers were called to a report regarding an aggravated assault on October 15 in the 12100 block of Troulon Drive.

The victims said Markus Marquis Mitchell was standing in the driveway of the home holding a gun to his face. 

According to police, Mitchell then raised the weapon and fired a round over the victim's head.  During the course of the altercation, police say Mitchell fired another round, nearly hitting the victim. 

Authorities say Mitchell is an active and documented gang member with prior felony arrests.
