Pasadena fire investigators are looking for a man who used gasoline as a weapon in a convenience store robbery.
The man entered the Big C convenience store at 2501 Preston at 10 p.m. on Jan. 12. Investigators say he went straight to the cooler and got a six-pack of beer.
When the man got to the counter, authorities say he began pouring gas on the floor and threatened to light the gas if the clerk did not give him money. The clerk gave the man money and he left without lighting the gas.
Pasadena fire investigators are asking for the public's help in locating their suspect. Anyone with information is urged to call the Pasadena Fire Marshal's Office at 713-475-5556 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
