Man stuffs rifle down pants, leaves store without paying

HOUSTON – Deputies said they are looking for a thief who went into a firearms store, stuffed a rifle down his pants and then walked out.

Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers said the incident happened at Fountain Firearms in the 9400 block of Highway 6 South about 10 a.m. on June 19.

The man is described as black, about 21 to 23 years old and about 170 pounds. Surveillance video shows he was wearing a white T-shirt, dark, loose-fitting shorts that reached below his knees, white socks and sandals. His hair was closely trimmed and he had a goatee.

Deputies said the man got to the store in a dark blue or dark black Dodge Durango. There were three other people with him.

The first person was a 6-foot-tall white man wearing a dark baseball cap, a brown T-shirt, a brown shirt and dark sneakers.

The second person was a black man wearing a gray or brown T-shirt with an orange ‘NIKE' logo and a streak of lightning on it. He also had on sandals and long, loose-fitting shorts that reached below his knees.

The third man was black, about 5 feet 6 inches tall. He was wearing an orange T-shirt and red workout pants.
