Man strikes dad in head, steals vehicle, deputies say

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – An arrest warrant was issued for a man who allegedly hit his father before stealing his car.

Constable Mark Herman's office said deputies were called to the 11300 block of Angelique Drive in reference to a robbery.

Deputies said a man reported his son, Todd Savage, had walked into his house without permission and took his car keys.

Savage allegedly made his father open his wallet and asked him for money before striking him in the forehead with car keys protruding out of his closed fist. He then stole the man's vehicle and left the area, deputies said.

A warrant for Savage's arrest was issued on charges of aggravated robbery.
