HOUSTON - A man won't be facing any charges after police said he stabbed someone who was attacking him.
It happened around 11:30 p.m. Thursday at an apartment complex on Gulf Bank and Antoine.
When officers arrived, they found a man who had been stabbed in the back.
Investigators said the victim was attacked by another man who was trying to strangle him. That's when officers said the man pulled a knife and stabbed him in self defense.
The man who was stabbed was taken to the hospital in serious, but stable condition.
The district attorney's office will not press charges in the case.
