Man sought in Cash Store robbery

Deputies: Man may have been involved in more than 1 Cash Store robbery

FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas – Officials are searching for a man involved in an aggravated robbery at a Cash Store in the 9300 block of Highway 6.

According to the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office, the robber entered the store Monday at 3:55 p.m., displayed a gun and stole an undisclosed amount of money.

Deputies said the robber was seen leaving the area in a white work-style truck.

The Sheriff's Office believes the same man may be responsible for a second robbery at another Cash Store on the same day in Houston.

Deputies described the man as black, about 25 to 30 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing between 160 and 180 pounds.

No customers or employees were injured during the robbery.
