HOUSTON -

Homicide detectives are investigating a deadly shooting in southwest Houston.

Police said they found the victim's body inside a car at the Pelican Pointe apartment complex on Bellaire Boulevard around 4:20 a.m. Saturday.

According to reports, there were numerous bullet holes in the car.

Houston police believe the victim, identified as 26-year-old Amiliar "Chino" Portillo, was last seen at the "Caribe Sports Bar," across the street, prior to the shooting.
