NORTHWEST HOUSTON – A man was shot at an apartment complex in northwest Houston while his family was home.
Houston police are investigating the shooting, which took place around midnight Sunday in the 7200 block of Kings Gate Circle.
According to police, the 18-year-old victim was downstairs in his apartment while other family members were upstairs.
Police said either the victim answered the front door or it was forced open by the suspects who then entered the apartment.

Family members told police they heard gunshots and rushed downstairs where they found the victim who had been shot multiple times.
The victim was rushed to Memorial Hermann Hospital in critical condition.
At this time, police have no motive nor a suspect in custody.
