HOUSTON – A robbery in southeast Houston turned into a murder investigation after the crook shot and killed a man.
Investigators said the crook kicked in a door at the Cabo San Lucas Apartments around 1:30 a.m. Saturday in the 10900 block of the Gulf Freeway near Bessemer.
At some point, police said the robber pulled a gun and shot a man inside the apartment, then took off. The victim died at the scene.
Police said there was no one else inside the apartment at the time, and no description of the suspect has been given.
