Man fatally shot in parking lot of Fuzzy's Pizza

HOUSTON – A man is on the run after one person was shot and killed in the parking lot of a southwest Houston pizza restaurant.

Police said the suspect had just left the Golden Chick restaurant when they got into a fight with two people in front of Fuzzy's Pizza at 8914 Westheimer Road. During the struggle, the man pulled out a handgun and opened fire on the second man, striking him multiple times.

The 26-year-old man was pronounced dead at Memorial Hermann Hospital Southwest. His identity has not been released.

The shooter ran west on Westheimer and into an apartment complex. He is still on the loose.

Police are investigating if robbery may have been the motive. They do not know of any connection between the shooter and the victim.

The gunman is described as a black man, about 6 feet tall with facial tattoos. He has short hair with rubber bands and beads tied on the hair tips.
