HOUSTON - A man managed to drive himself for help after getting shot in the leg.
Investigators said around 1:30 a.m. Saturday, the victim was driving along Lawndale near 75th when another car pulled up beside him and opened fire.
The victim was hit in the leg, but he managed to drive himself a couple of blocks away to a CVS store where two police officers happened to be, investigators said.
The victim was rushed to the hospital in serious, but stable condition. Officials said he couldn't describe what the shooter's vehicle looked like.
A motive for the shooting has not been established.
The victim's name was not released.
