HOUSTON – Police are investigating after a man was shot in his northeast Houston apartment.
It happened around 10 p.m. Saturday at a complex on the North Loop and Nicholson. Apparently the victim was in his home when he got into some sort of disturbance with an unknown suspect, police said.

According to reports, that suspect shot him in the chest at some point during the fight.
The victim was taken to the hospital in an unknown condition.
Police said the shooter fled the scene; so far, no arrests have been made.
