HOUSTON – A man is in serious condition after a shooting in northeast Houston.
Police said the man was on the porch at his home on Liberty Road near Bleker around 10:30 p.m. Monday when two men walked up and a fight began.

At some point, one of the two men pulled out a gun and fired several shots at the homeowner, police said. He was hit three times in the chest, once in the arm and once in the knee. He was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital in serious condition.
Both men got away before police arrived.
Police are investigating the motive for the shooting.
