Houston – Houston police are searching for a man accused of shooting his friend during a hotel stay Tuesday night.
Police said a group of men were in town staying at a Symphony Inn and Suites on the Southwest Freeway and Wilcrest Drive.

According to police, the group had been drinking when a fight broke out.
One man pulled a gun and shot another man twice.
Police said the victim, a 34-year-old man, was hit in the leg and in the hip.
He was taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition.
The victim's wife was also in the room when the shooting happened, police said.
They are now working to interview the victim and his wife to find out what the argument was about.
Police are still searching for the suspect.
