Man shot 6 times, thrown from moving vehicle

HOUSTON – A man was thrown from a moving car in front of a gas station in west Houston Thursday morning.

According to witnesses, the victim was pushed out of a gray Chrysler Pacifica at a Shell on Highway 6 near Briar Forest Road around 6 a.m.

Houston police said the man was able to walk to the gas station.

An ambulance was called to the scene, but by the time the man was picked up and arrived at Ben Taub Hospital, he died.

The man had been shot six times, investigators said.
