HOUSTON – A southwest Houston clinic was robbed at gunpoint on Thursday, according to the Houston Police Department.
The man entered the business in the 11000 block of South Wilcrest Drive around 3 p.m., walked up to the counter, pulled out a gun and demanded money, police said.
There were over 20 people inside at the time, according to reports.
"He was yelling and they said you have to wait, and he said put it in my hand. Put the money in my hand," bystander Erica Faria said.
There are no reports of gunshots and no one was injured in the incident, police said.
"Of course, he wanted the money. So he started counting. Give the money, if not I’ll shoot. So he said 1, 2, so that’s when everybody ran," office manager Mariela Soveranis said.
