Man robs bank at gunpoint

HOUSTON – A man robbed a Spring bank on Friday afternoon.

FBI officials said a man walked into the Capital One Bank in the 1700 block of Louetta shortly before 1 p.m.

Detectives said the man pointed a gun at a teller at close range and demanded cash.

The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and the robber left in a vehicle, which was found a short distance away, investigators said.

The robber was described as white and 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a blue suit, a yellow floppy hat, sunglasses and a blue bandanna over his face.
