A New York man was walking up the stairs at Essex and Delancey F train station Saturday when a stranger attacked him, UPI reports.
The stranger allegedly approached Marco Licato, 26, and told him the attack was because he looks "exactly like Shia LaBeouf" before punching him in the face.

"I literally just saw a fist for a split second," Licato said. "It knocked me, and while I was falling down the stairs, all I hear was, 'This is because you look exactly like Shia LaBeouf!'"
Licato filed a police report, and says he has a question for the mystery attacker if police are able to identify him: "What did Shia LaBeouf do to him that he punched somebody that looks like him? Did he steal his girlfriend? Did he just see his last performance art piece?
