HARRIS COUNTY – A man is in custody after leading police on a chase.
Pasadena police said the chase started in the 1200 block of Pasadena Boulevard around 3 p.m. Thursday afternoon.

Officials said a police detective was trying to serve a felony warrant for aggravated sexual assault of a child and possession of child pornography when the suspect saw the cops and took off.
Police said the chase lasted about 20 minutes before the suspect pulled over and stopped his vehicle on Highway 225 near Good Year Drive.
The suspect, identified as Israel Montoya Alcaraz, was taken into custody.
Alcaraz, 28, is being held on $40,000 bond.
