Chase Bank on F.M. 1960 near Eldridge robbed

HOUSTON – A northwest Harris County bank was targeted by a robber on Tuesday.

Harris County sheriff's deputies said a man held up the Chase Bank in the 12200 block of F.M. 1960 West near Eldridge about 9 a.m.

Detectives said the robber handed a teller a note demanding cash. The note also indicated that the robber had a gun, but he did not show it to anyone, according to the FBI.

The man left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The robber was described as white, 25 to 35 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall and 150 pounds with brown hair. He was last seen wearing a green hooded jacket with black stripes and jeans.
