HOUSTON – Police say the elderly man who went missing earlier this week was hit and killed by two vehicles while trying to walk across a Houston freeway.
It happened around 12:20 a.m. Wednesday in the 13000 block of the North Freeway.

Houston police say a Leonard Kendall, 71, was walking across the northbound lanes when he was hit by an SUV and a pickup truck.
Both drivers stayed at the scene until police arrived.
Houston police say no charges are expected to be filed.
Police had issued a missing person report for Kendall who they say was last seen on Monday.
