GARLAND, Texas - Headphones may have cost one north Texas man his life.
Investigators said a Dallas-area man was while walking near some railroad tracks when his was hit by a train. He died at the scene.
Police identified the victim as 57-year-old Clarence Hodge, of Garland.
Detectives believe Hodge was wearing headphones on Tuesday night and did not hear the northbound train approach as he tried to cross the tracks.
