Deputies said after a short pursuit, the vehicle slowed and a man, later identified as Pablo Zapata-Diaz, 28, jumped from the moving vehicle, letting it roll into a ditch.

The Constable's Office said Zapata-Diaz was found shortly after a perimeter was set up hiding in a small concrete culvert not far from where he ran into the woods.

Zapata-Diaz is charged with evading in a motor vehicle. His bail was set at $35,000.
