HOUSTON – Police said a man ran Thursday morning from officers who tried to make a traffic stop in southeast Houston.
According to investigators, officers tried to pull the man over for a broken taillight, but he refused to stop.

The man led police to a neighborhood near Pershing and Dunkirk, investigators said. At the intersection, police said he jumped out and ran to a bayou.
Police and K-9 units tried to search for the man, but they were not able to find him.
