HOUSTON – A nearly two-hour SWAT standoff Tuesday near Hobby Airport ended in a man's arrest.
Police heard gunshots around 9:20 p.m. at an apartment complex in the 8700 block of Broadway. Officers arrived and found a man on a third-floor balcony shooting into the air. Police said the man refused orders to drop his gun and come down, then barricaded himself the apartment.

Police called in a SWAT team after learning a baby, woman and another man were hiding in a closet inside the apartment.
Nearly two hours later, the man surrendered to officers.
No one was hurt.
