HOUSTON – Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident from over the weekend.
It happened around 5:35 a.m. Sunday.

Houston police said Rico Bell, 28, was driving a white Chrysler 300 in the 1400 block of the North Loop eastbound when he lost control and drove off the road.
Bell was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital, but died from his injuries on Thursday.
Houston police said their investigation is ongoing.
