HOUSTON – A man is in the hospital after a crash in southwest Houston.
It happened just around 12:30 a.m. Monday on West Bellfort and Bob White.

Officers said the driver lost control and crashed into a stop light pole.
The driver was not wearing his seatbelt and was taken to Ben Taub General Hospital in critical condition.
The driver will be tested to determine whether he was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Officials said two stop lights on the pole fell after the crash. The intersection was closed as crews worked to repair the pole.
