NORTHEAST HARRIS COUNTY – A man was taken to the hospital in critical condition after crashing his ATV into a lake.
Around 1 a.m. in Northeast Harris County, a man was driving his ATV in a camping area off of Highway 90 and Gulf Pump Road when he crashed.

Deputies said he hit his head as he landed. He was flown to the hospital in critical condition; it was not immediately known whether he would survive.
Witnesses said he had been drinking at the time of the crash.
The victim's name was not immediately released.
