Murder charges have been filed in last month’s shooting death of a man in north Harris County.
It happened in the 17000 block of on the afternoon of August 16.
Police said Marcus Williams, 36, was home with his brother and roommate when another man knocked at the door.
When they answered the door, the armed suspect walked in and ordered everyone to get on the ground.
Williams struggled with the suspect, later identified as 24-year-old Terry Dunn, and during the struggle, several shots were fired.
Williams was shot in the chest and died at the scene.
Dunn ran off before police arrived.
After further investigation, Dunn was identified as the suspect and was taken into custody on Sept. 24.
Dunn is charged with capital murder.
