Officials said a deputy saw Timonthy Clark, 23, get into a blue Hyundai Sonata in the parking lot and he looked suspicious. Officials said Clark drove through the parking lot and tried to avoid crossing paths with deputies.

Deputies said when they checked the vehicle license plate, they discovered the vehicle was reported as stolen from the city of Houston.

Deputies pulled the Sonata over and Clark told them he had purchased the vehicle from a person the day before.

Clark is charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle. He is being held in the Harris County Jail on a $15,000 bond.
