Man arrested after road rage shooting in SE Houston

HOUSTON – A man is in jail after a scary road rage incident in southeast Harris County.

It all started at a toll plaza on Beltway 8 near Wayside. Deputy constables with Precinct 7 said that just after 6 p.m. Monday  the driver of a silver SUV cut off a driver who was behind the wheel of a gray Ford F-150.

After driving a short distance past the toll plaza, deputies said the driver of the F-150 shoot at the SUV, striking it twice. No one inside the SUV was wounded but the driver of the truck, Ligio Castilleja, was arrested a short time later.

Deputy constables said after they arrested Castilleja for the shooting, they also found a gun in his truck with two rounds of ammunition.
