Houston police said James Guyes, 24, walked into a home and claimed he was an undercover officer. Police said he then demanded a woman inside get down on the floor.

Guyes went to the bedroom where the woman's husband was located and threatened to shoot both of them, police said.

The victim told police that Guyes never displayed a weapon and did not identify which law enforcement agency he was with, officials said.

The couple said they fought with Guyes and pushed him out of the front door, but he returned to their backyard and screamed that he was an undercover officer, police said.

Officers arrived and arrested Guyes.

On Monday morning in court, a judge dismissed a charge of impersonating a public servant and charged Guyes with criminal trespassing.

He's being held on a $1,000 bond.
