A Fort Bend County man is accused of trying to take a picture of a woman while she was changing clothes in the dressing room of an upscale department store.

Court records show 19-year-old Rolando Rafael Contreras was arrested Monday and charged with one count of improper visual recording.

Police said a woman in a second-floor dressing room of the Dillard's on Westheimer near the 610 Loop saw a man's hand with a cellphone pop over the top of the dressing room door while she was trying on pants.

"I was looking in the mirror and saw this cell phone pop up, then go back down, then come up again so I yelled, 'What are you doing?'” the woman told Local 2 under the condition we not reveal her name.

Police said another shopper saw the man running out of the dressing room area. The woman and the other shopper quickly alerted an off-duty police officer who was working security in the store.

The woman told Local 2 the officer found Contreras trying to blend in with other customers in the men's department.

Contreras has been released on a $2,000 bond.
