A man under investigation for four months was arrested Thursday in Dickinson after the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office Special Crimes Unit executed a narcotics search and arrest warrant at the home.
Mark Cisneros Perales, 46, was charged with manufacture and delivery of controlled substance, a first degree felony. His bond was set at $30,000.
Detectives said they found a total of 20 grams of powder cocaine packaged for sale.
The special crimes unit said they encountered some difficulties getting into the home.
According to the Galveston County Sheriff's Office, the team was confronted by two aggressive pit bulldogs.
Officials said one of the dogs was shot and killed by deputies. The other dog retreated into the home. Both dogs were picked up Animal Control.
