HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A man has been charged after robbing a Valero convenience store at knifepoint, the Harris County Constable Precinct 4's Office said.
Deputies went to the 23300 block of Aldine Westfield Road in north Harris County on Nov. 27 regarding an aggravated robbery.

Authorities said deputies were advised a man had entered the Valero convenience store, selected various merchandise and proceeded to the sales counter with the merchandise.
The man then went behind the sales counter, pulled a knife on the employee and demanded money, authorities said.
Deputies obtained an arrest warrant after an investigation into the robbery for Byron Rittenhouse. Authorities said deputies found Rittenhouse a few weeks later.
Deputies positively identified Rittenhouse as the person who robbed the same store Dec. 15, also at knifepoint, authorities said.
It was discovered Rittenhouse had previously been employed for a very short time at the same location he is being charged with robbing.
Constable Mark Herman said Rittenhouse was booked into the Harris County jail and charged with two counts of aggravated robbery.
"Other robbery cases in the area remain open and under investigation. Should the investigation reveal Rittenhouse is linked to these robberies, additional charges will be filed," Herman said. "His bond was set at $30,000 per incident, $60,000 total out of the 178th District Court."
