Deputies said a resident near the 183 frontage road in Cedar Park told them that a man had changed the sign's wording on Sunday.

The sign originally warned about road construction, but deputies said Eltgroth admitted to correctly guessing the user name and password for the sign and changing it because he thought it was funny.

A deputy found Eltgroth at a gas station.
