Burglars target The Woodlands

Deputies: break-ins happened in broad daylight

THE WOODLANDS, Texas – Deputies advised residents in The Woodlands to be aware of burglaries happening in broad daylight. 

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office said the burglars in most of the cases broke a small window in the front or back doors.  Once inside, various items were stolen.

Deputies said the burglaries have happened over the past two weeks in Panther Creek. 

Other neighborhoods that have been victimized are Wedgewood Estates and Forest, West Isle, Windward Cove, Herald Oaks and Hidden Lake.  Deputies have urged all neighborhoods to be aware, lock doors, set alarms and report suspicious activity.

There were no descriptions of the suspects or suspect available.
