HOUSTON – A woman is accused of impersonating her ex-boyfriend's girlfriend and posting ads for sex online.
Court documents state the victim contacted the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office that several unknown men had knocked on the door of her Cypress residence. Her boyfriend confronted one of the men and he showed them a Craigslist.org advertisement which featured a picture of her and a "statement of desire for any men to come to her house for the purposes of sexual activity," court documents allege. The ad also listed her address.

Investigators developed leads that the phone number and email address used to create the ad was associated with the former girlfriend of the victim's boyfriend. According to investigators, Samantha Weber was the account holder of the IP address also used to impersonate the victim.
A search warrant revealed emails in Weber's account from persons responding to the ad, investigators say.
Weber, 38, is charged with online impersonation.
